How to get the latest Nintendo News via the Amazon Echo

If you own an Amazon Echo, it is possible to listen to the most recent headlines from Nintendo UK, via the Flash Briefing Skill.

To be able to do that, please follow these steps:

  • Open the Amazon Alexa App on your phone.
  • In there, please open the menu, select 'Settings' and then 'Flash Briefing'. There you'll see a list of previously enabled Flash Briefing content.
  • Select 'Get more Flash Briefing content' and search for 'Nintendo'.
  • Tap the result made by 'Nintendo of Europe'.
  • Tap 'Enable'.

When you now ask "Alexa, what's the news?", the overview will include the most recent headlines from Nintendo UK. You can use the commands 'Next' and 'Previous' to skip or repeat headlines, and you can use 'Cancel' to stop the overview all together. When you want to learn more about something you’ve heard, open the Amazon Alexa App on your phone, navigate to the home section, and tap ‘Read more’ below the corresponding headline. The complete article will then open in your phone’s default web browser.

For more information, please visit Amazon's official Flash Briefing page.
