How to Cancel a Pre-Order for Software on Nintendo eShop

Important: A pre-order can only be cancelled seven days or more before the release date for the software.

What to do

To cancel a pre-order, you need access to the Nintendo Account that was used to place the pre-order, as well as access to either a Nintendo Switch console or an internet browser on a computer or smart device.

What will you use to cancel your pre-order?

  1. From the HOME Menu on your Nintendo Switch console, open Nintendo eShop and select the user that placed the pre-order.
  2. Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
  3. Select Pre-Orders from the right-hand menu to view any pre-orders you have placed.
  4. Select Cancel Pre-Order next to the pre-order you wish to cancel.

  1. Visit accounts.nintendo.com and sign in with the Nintendo Account that was used to place the pre-order.
  2. Select Shop Menu.
  3. Select Pre-Orders.
  4. Select Cancel Pre-Order next to the pre-order you wish to cancel.
