There are plenty of ways to play with Nintendo 3DS family systems. In addition to button controls, games can also be played by tapping and dragging on the Touch Screen with a pen-like stylus, or by tilting the system. The systems' built-in cameras can also be used to bring real-world visuals into games, and speaking or blowing into the microphone can affect play too.
New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL feature enhanced controls with additional inputs. Extra shoulder buttons, the ZL and ZR Buttons, and a C Stick are included to expand control options. Controls that were previously only available on the separate Circle Pad Pro or Circle Pad Pro XL accessories are integrated into the systems.
