    How to Submit a Proof of Purchase

    Read the information in this article to learn how to submit a proof of purchase.

    Please select your country of residence to check the information that applies to it.

    UK or Ireland

    Important Information

    Before sending your console in for repair, please carefully read the packaging guidelines (PDF, 198 kB) to ensure your console arrives safely. The guidelines also include instructions for providing a proof of purchase.

    If you did not submit the proof of purchase in the parcel you sent to our repairs centre, please use our contact form here and kindly provide the proof of purchase by uploading it as an attachment.

    Follow these steps in the Contact Form:

    1. Select "UK" or "Ireland".
    2. Select "Repairs / Technical Assistance".
    3. Select "Cost Estimation / Payment Inquiry".
    4. Select "How to submit a proof of purchase".
    5. Select "Contact Nintendo Support".
    6. Provide your name and email address.
      • Important: Make sure to provide the Repair Order Number (RMA).
      • Important: Upload the proof of purchase as an attachment.
    7. Provide a small amount of information regarding your query.
    8. Select "Continue", confirm your information, and then submit the form.
    9. Our customer care agents will then retrieve the proof of purchase and link it to your RMA Repair Order Number.

    Please note: If the fault is not due to a defect in the manufacture of the product, the repair will not be covered by the warranty. You will be notified of any costs prior to being charged.

    Germany, Austria, or Switzerland

    In case you forgot to include a copy of the proof of purchase when sending your device for repairs, please submit it later via our contact form.

    To do this, you will need to follow the below steps on the contact form:

    1. Select "Germany", "Austria", or "Switzerland".
    2. Select "Repairs / Technical Assistance".
    3. Select "Cost Estimation / Payment Inquiry".
    4. Select "How to submit a proof of purchase".
    5. Select "Contact Nintendo Support".
    6. Please give us all the information you have regarding your repair request and upload a copy of your proof of purchase.

    Please consider that repairs might not fall under the legal warranty or Nintendo's manufacturer guarantee, depending on the diagnosed damage/defect. In this case you will receive a cost estimation via email.

    Italy

    Important Information

    France

    If you did not include a copy of your proof of purchase in your shipment to the repair service centre, you can upload it as an attachment and send it to us via the contact form by following the below steps:

    1. Select "France"
    2. Select "Repairs / Technical Assistance"
    3. Select "Cost Estimation / Payment Inquiry"
    4. Select "How to submit a proof of purchase"
    5. Select "Contact Nintendo Support"

    In the Contact Form:

    • Specify your name, email address and repair order number (RMA number).
    • Upload the proof of purchase as an attachment.
    • Finally, select "Continue" to send your request.

    IMPORTANT: If the manufacturer's warranty period has expired or if the problem is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you will receive a quotation by email prior to any action from the repair service centre.

    Spain or Portugal

    The proof of purchase must be sent to our repairs services along with the damaged product, inside of the same package. If you did not submit the proof of purchase in the parcel you sent to our repairs centre, please use our contact form here and kindly provide the proof of purchase by uploading it as an attachment.

    Follow these steps in the Contact Form:

    1. Select "Spain" or "Portugal".
    2. Select "Repairs / Technical Assistance".
    3. Select "Cost Estimation / Payment Inquiry".
    4. Select "How to submit a proof of purchase".
    5. Select "Contact Nintendo Support".
    6. Provide your name and email address.
      • Important: Make sure to provide the Repair Order Number.
      • Important: Upload the proof of purchase as an attachment.
    7. Provide a small amount of information regarding your query.
    8. Select "Continue", confirm your information, and then submit the form.
    9. Our customer care agents will then retrieve the proof of purchase and link it to your Repair Order Number.
