How to Start a Multiplayer Game (Luigi’s Mansion 3)

In this article, you'll learn how to set up a multiplayer game in Luigi’s Mansion 3.

    Important:

A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use the game's online features.

Luigi's Mansion 3 features three different multiplayer modes to enjoy with other players.

    • Story Mode (Co-Op):

Have a friend play as Gooigi for 2-player co-op in story mode.

This option opens after you obtain Gooigi from Professor E. Gadd in story mode (after about 1 hour of gameplay).

    • Scarescraper:

Up to 8 players can work together to ascend the Scarescaper online or via local wireless. This game mode supports 1-2 players per console, up to 8 players (4 consoles) total.

This option opens after you obtain Gooigi from Professor E. Gadd in story mode (after about 1 hour of gameplay).

    • ScreamPark:

Team up with other players to compete in mini-game battles! This game mode supports up to 8 players on the same console.
