How to Adjust or Terminate Nintendo Switch Online Automatic Renewal Settings

Instructions on terminating automatic renewal and on changing the payment method for your Nintendo Switch Online membership, and other passes and memberships.
Additional Information:
- Automatic renewal settings are automatically adjusted to whichever membership plan you have most recently purchased. They can be terminated, but cannot be set to a different membership type or validity period.
- Automatic renewal settings can only be adjusted by the Nintendo Account holder that purchased the plan. Other members of a family group cannot adjust the settings.
- Automatic renewal transactions will be prevented if the Nintendo Account holder that purchased the plan is subject to Nintendo eShop Restrictions. If you wish to use automatic renewal, the purchase restrictions will need to be removed. Alternatively, you can also purchase or extend a membership without using automatic renewal.

- Automatic renewal settings can be adjusted in Nintendo Switch eShop or through your settings on http://accounts.nintendo.com. Adjusting the information in one place will also change it in the other.

- Select "Nintendo eShop" on the HOME Menu to launch Nintendo eShop.
- Select the account you want to use.
- Tap your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
- To change your payment method
Select Change in the "Payment method for automatic renewal and pre-order payments:" area. Choose from Credit Card, PayPal, or Funds Only and follow the on-screen directions to update your payment method.
- To terminate automatic renewal
Highlight "Nintendo Switch Online" on the left side of the screen and then select Terminate automatic renewal for the appropriate Nintendo Switch Online membership. Once automatic renewal is terminated, it cannot be turned on again.

- Visit http://accounts.nintendo.com and sign in to your Nintendo Account to access your account settings.
- Select "Shop Menu".
