    How Long Do Nintendo Repairs Take?

    Read the information in this article to learn more about the repair process.

    UK or Ireland

    Important Information

    Nintendo Customer Service teams are working hard to maintain high customer service standards during the current challenging times, but please understand that there may be delays in responses to messages and processing repairs.

    We are currently experiencing a higher turnaround time for repairs. Please allow 21 days for your repair to be complete.

    What to do

    If you have already sent your product in for repair and would like to know the status of your repair, please go here.

    Below is a breakdown of our repair process so that you can understand how a repair is processed from beginning to end.

    1. Shipment Phase [3-5 days from date item is posted]
      • Send your product to our service centre.
    2. Receipt Phase [1-3 business days]
      • 1-3 business days after being received, your product will be booked into our repair centre system and the contents of your parcel will be checked.
      • When your product is booked into our system, you will receive a confirmation email.
    3. Repairs Phase [1-2 weeks]
      • After being received, your items will be diagnosed for repair.
        • If your item is under warranty, it will be repaired upon diagnosis. This will be confirmed in an email.
        • If your item is out of warranty, you will receive a quote via email. You will have 14 days to pay the quote online, otherwise the product will be returned unrepaired. Upon receipt of payment, your item will be repaired within 2-3 days.
    4. Dispatch Phase [3-5 business days]
      • Once the repairs have been completed, your item will be dispatched.
      • An email will be sent to you upon dispatch with the courier information.

    Germany or Austria

    Under warranty repairs take 4-5 days plus shipping time. Normally you will receive your product back within one week.

    If a repair free of charge is not possible, you will receive a cost estimation via email and the repair will take longer, depending on how much time passes before you reply.

    If you registered the repair via our repair portal, you can check the repair status there at any time.

    Switzerland

    Under warranty repairs take 4-5 days plus shipping time (please keep in mind that repairs are done in Germany). Normally you will receive your product back within two weeks at the latest.

    If a repair free of charge is not possible, you will receive a cost estimation via email and the repair will take longer, depending on how much time passes before you reply.

    Italy

    Based on our current experience, the average processing time is less than two weeks. This time may vary depending on external factors beyond our control.

      • Once the repairs have been completed, your item will be dispatched.
      • A customer Service representative will contact you to confirm the delivery information. You can check the delivery status using the provided tracking number.
