    How to Change the System Language

    Instructions for changing the system language on Nintendo Switch.

    Important:

    When changing the system language, the Nintendo Switch console will need to be restarted. Any suspended software will be closed.

    Complete These Steps:

    1. From the HOME Menu, select “System Settings.”
    2. Scroll down the options on the left and select "System" > "Language."
    3. Select from one of the language options below:
      English Portuguese
      French Russian
      German Japanese
      Spanish Chinese (Traditional)
      Italian Chinese (Simplified)
      Dutch Korean
