Discontinuation of the Feature to Merge Nintendo Network ID and Nintendo Account Funds

As of 12 March 2024, it will no longer be possible to merge Nintendo eShop funds between a Nintendo Network ID and a Nintendo Account.
If you have unused balance in Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U, linking your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account and merging your funds will allow you to use your balance to purchase digital download titles, DLC, passes and other similar items for Nintendo Switch after 12 March.
Keep in mind that you can create a Nintendo Account and merge the funds even if you do not own or use a Nintendo Switch console at this time.
