What is the value of a single Gold Point?

The value of a Gold Point when used for digital purchases differs per currency. The currency of a Gold Point is determined by the Nintendo Account country setting at the time the point was earned, and can not be changed thereafter.

1 Gold Point is equivalent to:

  • 0.01 EUR
  • 0.01 GBP
  • 0.01 CHF
  • 0.1 DKK
  • 0.1 NOK
  • 0.1 SEK
  • 0.05 PLN
  • 1 RUB
  • 0.2 CZK
  • 0.1 ZAR
  • 0.01 AUD
  • 0.01 NZD

Examples:

  • If you pay €50 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 250 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save €2.50.
  • If you pay £40 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 200 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save £2.
  • If you pay 60 Fr. for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 300 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save 3 Fr.
  • If you pay 400 kr for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 200 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save 20 kr.
  • If you pay 200 zł for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 200 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save 10 zł.
  • If you pay ₽3000 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 150 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save ₽150.
  • If you pay Kč 1000 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 250 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save Kč 50.
  • If you pay R500 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll receive 250 Gold Points. Next time, you’ll be able to use those points and save R25.

This valuation only applies when spending on digital purchases. When used for other rewards, there is no fixed value.
