What is the difference between a Single-Pak multiplayer game and a Multi-Pak multiplayer game?

A Single-Pak multiplayer game allows up to four players to play using only one Game Pak. The Game Pak is plugged into the Game Pak Slot of the Game Boy Advance/Game Boy Advance SP of player 1. From here the data required for a multiplayer game is sent to the other Game Boy Advance/Game Boy Advance SP units (connected via the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable).

For a Multi-Pak multiplayer game, each player must have the same Game Pak in their own Game Boy Advance/Game Boy Advance SP in order to play together via the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable.

More detailed information on the multiplayer function is available in the instructions supplied with each game.
