Now that you know what’s going on, here are the top letters we have received recently:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by Michael Harmsworth

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is a title that is not only in my opinion arguably the best game ever made, it is one that I just keep coming back to even after having played it for over 120 hours so far!

I was so excited to play it the day it came out and wanted a full day free to play it very early on to really get stuck into the game. So in advance I booked the Monday off after the Switch and Breath of the Wild came out specifically so I could give as much time as I wanted to playing it on that day and I was so glad I did! I didn’t think that I could have more fun than I did with the Zelda of my childhood – The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past – but I did with Breath of the Wild! And have continued to since!

The music, the cryptic clues to find treasure, finding Korok Seeds, taking on huge hoards of enemies, finding a spot you haven’t explored before, the satisfaction of completing another side quest and so many other things means that you keep finding yourself coming back for more no matter whether you have spent 1 hour playing it, or 120 hours playing it. It’s a game that never loses its shine and wonder!”

    Celeste by Sam Hughes

“Don't climb the mountain they said... It'll be hard they said... They were right.

Celeste is a genuine masterpiece in tight, difficult platforming, and believe me when I tell you that you will [fail, a lot!]. I honestly cannot believe how well the challenging level design and your [missteps] work their way into the story, which is absolutely beautiful, while highlighting serious topics. This is all before mentioning possibly the most incredible part of this incredible game: its music. The way the music evolves and flows throughout the game's levels is masterful and the pure quality of the soundtrack cannot be understated. You will find yourself humming along to the tune; it makes your [failures] a lot more manageable!

Overall, this is one of the best games on the Switch and is something I can highly recommend to anyone, as long as you don't mind [failing] a little bit!”

Mario Tennis Aces by Thomas Moore (Aged 12)

“I really just had to write and tell you how much, as a whole family, we are enjoying Mario Tennis Aces on the Switch! I like tricky games and I am battling through the very tough Adventure mode on my own.

My little sister and I enjoy settling scores on multiplayer mode. I like being Toad and she plays as Toadette; our favourite characters. Mum plays the winner.

My dad likes to play online but gets [a bitupset] at other players if he loses. Mum tells him he must not get too annoyed at losing!

But the funniest thing is this - my nan visited us and had a game of Swing Mode with me. She is 79 and beat me! She said she hadn't played tennis since 1973 and she was amazing (she played as Yoshi).

As a whole family I feel there is something for everyone in this title, and we love it! We love Nintendo. My dad beams with pride as he tells me he first played Mario in 1983, and now I love Mario games more than him (well, almost!). Please keep making such awesome family games. you bring us closer together and give us something to talk about.”

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker by Anneka Bloomer

“I would like to talk about how much fun Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is!

I have liked Toad ever since I first saw him utter those immortal words, 'Sorry Mario! But our princess is in another castle', and have pined to see him branch out on his own. Finally he - well, Captain Toad at least - has (although it has taken [over 30] years), and I was not disappointed! I got both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS versions and they both add a different dimension to the game. I love the brilliant 3D visuals on the 3DS but play it with my partner on the big screen on Switch. The characters Toad & Toadette are just so loveable, I am playing through on the edge of my seat rooting for Toad! I would recommend this title to everyone, it’s pure Toad-venture!”
