  • Which came first – the chicken or the egg? The next Splatfest starts on March 10th in Splatoon 2!

    05/03/2018

It's a quandary that's divided the world of science for decades, and now it's causing quite a stir at the Squid Research Lab, too! Which came first – the chicken or the egg? Inklings everywhere are about to weigh in on this age-old debate the only way they know how: in an ink-flinging Splatfest!

It’s all set to start at 14:00 UK time on March 10th and ends at 14:00 UK time on March 11th, with the results being revealed by Pearl and Marina shortly afterwards.

Inklings should also remember that you can record video footage in Splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch by pressing and holding the Capture Button!* Then you can upload your most glorious Splatfest moments to social media for the world to see.**

    How do I get involved?

You can pick a side in-game right now! Just visit the voting terminal in Inkopolis Square, choose a side and pick up your Splatfest Tee.

How can I prepare for the Splatfest?

Got your Splatfest Tee? You can work on filling its ability slots beforehand by playing in regular Turf Wars, so that you’re already at your best when the Splatfest starts.

    What’s in it for me?

Super Sea Snails are awarded after the results are in depending on how you performed and whether your team won or not. These can be used to upgrade your gear, all you need to do is head to Murch in Inkopolis Square and have a little chat with him. He’s pretty keen on Super Sea Snails.

See you on Saturday for this egg-straordinary encounter, Inklings! You're not going to chicken out, are you…?
