Watch 30 minutes of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gameplay in a new instalment of Nintendo UK Play

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 lands on Nintendo Switch on Friday 1st December! We’re so close!

In anticipation for the games arrival our Community Manager James Bowden sat down with JRPG enthusiast, streamer and speed-runner Bowie Alexander for a new instalment of Nintendo UK Play on our official YouTube channel.

We’ve got two videos for you to enjoy. The first explores Gormott, one of the earlier areas in this expansive JRPG, and looks at the basics of the battle system. The second video starts in the idyllic Uraya and takes on a more challenging encounter with a powerful Walker Trap. We also delve into the Blades and class effects that can help you in battle and have a quick look at Mor Ardain, a more industrial continent that you’ll discover in the game.

We’ve only shown a very tiny part of Gormott, Uraya and Mor Ardain in these videos. There’s so much more to discover, new areas to explore and battle tactics to master. We hope you’ll enjoy this incredible new adventure on Nintendo Switch!

A special thanks to Little Jem Cosplay for creating the incredible Aegis seen in the videos!

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be available in shops and as a downloadable version from Nintendo eShop December 1st 2017, only on Nintendo Switch. On the same day, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Collector’s Edition* and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition will be released.
