23rd September 2014 – As anticipation mounts for the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire on 28th November, Nintendo has today revealed upcoming hardware offerings for Nintendo 2DS that present new designs for the system.

On 7th November, both Nintendo 2DS Transparent Red and Nintendo 2DS Transparent Blue will release in Europe, presenting the hardware in new eye-catching forms. Aside from the side panelling, both offerings are transparent in design, revealing the skeleton of the system underneath both the front and back of the system casing.
