In the sixth instalment of the series, Professor Layton receives a letter from Professor Desmond Sycamore, a like-minded archaeologist who claims to have discovered a 'living mummy'. Intrigued, Layton and his faithful companions, Luke Triton and Emmy Altava, head to the frozen town of Froenborg to investigate, not knowing of the exciting adventure that lies ahead!

Soon enough, Layton finds himself travelling the world on a quest to uncover the ancient legacy of the Azran – a long-lost civilisation with a powerful secret. But as the events of the past begin to tie together, and enemies both old and new emerge from the shadows, will the greatest mystery ever faced by Professor Layton also be his last?

In Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, you can pit your wits against over 150 puzzles during the main adventure, then tackle 385 more by downloading them throughout the course of the year from Nintendo Network. Enjoy a host of new mini-games, collect treasures from Layton's past adventures and challenge your friends for the first time in a Layton game, using StreetPass to create your own Treasure Hunt!
