Nintendo recently announced the return of its Unleashed tour for 2012-2013, once again giving avid gamers the chance to play all the latest games before they are on general release at a series of events, up and down the UK.
Nintendo has confirmed the first three events as part of the Unleashed tour, including Kitacon and London MCM Expo. Across the tour, fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on the latest games before they hit the shops, nab exclusive goodies and maybe even meet a special Nintendo guest along the way!
For those keen to get involved with the tour’s multiplayer action, it's an open invite to battle it out for ultimate gamer status. The large shows will also have dedicated blogging zones allowing fans to log on and spread the word about their gaming experiences.
Kicking off with a bang this week at Kitacon in Birmingham (13th - 15th April), Nintendo Unleashed will be celebrating the latest RPG on Wii, Pandora’s Tower, which launches on Friday 13th April. The first 3 people into the show will win a copy of the game - exclusive posters will be available to all attendees, and the game itself will be available for trial throughout the event.
Nintendo 3DS title MARIO TENNIS OPEN, which launches on Nintendo 3DS on 25th May, will also be available to trial for the first time ever in the UK!
What’s more, fans will be able to play the biggest game to hit Nintendo 3DS this year, Kid Icarus: Uprising and celebrate the revival of hero Pit with a dedicated Swap Shop and battle zone for the collectible AR Cards. Everyone who brings their own copy of the game to the stand will be rewarded with a brand new set of AR Cards!
