Professor Layton and the Spectre’s Call is the latest title in the successful series of puzzle games for Nintendo DS. Set three years before the first game where the puzzle professor and his protégé visited the curious village of St Mystere, this prequel illuminates the events surrounding how Layton and his now-trusty sidekick Luke first met, and the case that made the charming chap with the top hat famous for his brainpower.

This latest adventure features over 170 new puzzles, with plenty of plot twists, turns, and lovely new content to keep you busy. We’ve just opened up our full website for the game, where you can find out more about the ghostly story that takes Layton (and Emmy, his first assistant) to the town of Misthallery, see what’s new for this prequel, and even try out the very first puzzle from the game!
