  • Capture the maestro in you with WiiMusic videos!

    27/11/2008

One of the great aspects of indulging your musicality with Wii Music is that you can relive the fruits of your labour immediately in the Wii Music Video section. Whenever you play a tune, either solo or with friends, Wii Music automatically makes a recording of your performance, which can be stored in your Video Library for your ongoing entertainment!

Before you immortalise it in the Video Library hall of fame however, there are a few cool enhancements you can make. Firstly, you can rate your performance. When you’re given the option to save the video, you’ll see a popularity slider on the screen – the higher you set it, the more you liked your work! For the professional finish, you can then customise your own sleeve - placing images of Miis and altering the background and frame before displaying it in all its glory.

    Make it a group experience!

Even if you’re playing solo, you can share your accomplishments with friends and family across the globe! As long as both you and your Wii Music buddies have access to the Internet, you can use the magic of WiiConnect24 to send them your finished videos, and receive them back too! Even better, if you think you can improve on your friend’s pitiful effort, Wii Music allows you to edit any video freely. So, once you’ve worked some of your musical magic on the offending performance, resend it to the guilty party and wallow in the knowledge that you truly are the musical impresario amongst your friends.

Find your place in the Wii Music Charts!

There are a number of ways you can view your videos. The most straightforward way is to pick the song of your choice from the Video Library. If quality is more crucial than quantity to you, then you might want to select a performance using the Top-10 Playback option. This ranks all Wii Music videos in your collection by popularity points, so make sure you vote for the ones you like best! There is also the Random Playback option if you can’t quite decide what you want to view and fancy a surprise.

Whether you want to tinker with a Jam session until you’re happy, or just leave your performance rough-and-ready, there are loads of ways to make your musical experience a lasting memory with Wii Music.
