  • Use Kirby to Crush the Competition

    13/06/2007

There's more to Kirby than inhaling innocent, defenceless enemies and swallowing up their Copy Abilities. He wants to help you crush your poor, innocent, defenceless friends in sub-games!

In Kirby Mouse Attack for Nintendo DS, you can challenge your friends to one of three Touch Screen games where you can try to inhale all the wins while your opponents catch their breath. Up to four people can play each game via wireless connectivity, and only one Game Card is needed to play.

The three sub-games each take less than a minute to play. In Speedy Teatime, a lid is lifted from a plate to reveal tasty treats. Players use the stylus to tap the treats until they inhale eight to win the game. Of course, some of these treats have bombs in them. Don't snack on those. When Kirby eats a bomb, he's out for the next plate.

Bombs also need to be avoided in Treasure Shot. Goodies and bombs will appear from three treasure chests. Players slide the stylus toward the treat to hit the treat with a ball. Hitting the bomb freezes the player.

Players won't find bombs in Smash Ride, but they'll still find plenty of action. Set in a circular arena, players will need to smash their Kirby star vehicles into the stars of others to knock them out of the arena. The one who knocks the most players out of the arena is the one who wins!

No friends around to beat? No problem. Kirby Mouse Attack lets players match up against a computer opponent on any of these games.

Kirby Mouse Attack is in shops 22 June, only on Nintendo DS.
