Nintendo 3DS Sound

A multipurpose player that makes you feel like going out

With Nintendo 3DS Sound you can enjoy a variety of features that make daily life more fun – like listening to your music on the go. But why not sing your favourite song karaoke-style? Or record your pronunciation when studying a language? You can even do a Compatibility test with other players by comparing your lists of favourite songs. So go on, go out there and enjoy the music!

  • High Harmony
  • Budgie
  • Whistle

Move the pitch up or down or adjust the speed of the recording.

More fun with music

Transfer songs in .aac-format or .mp3-format from your PC to the SD Memory Card to listen to whenever you like. But you can do more than just listen... Filter out the voice and perform karaoke or play with the pitch of your songs. You can even press the L + R Buttons to add a drum beat as if you were joining in a performance.

Music can be modified in four ways:

  • Radio makes your music sound as if it's played through an old radio
  • Instrumental makes the singing voice disappear for karaoke*.
  • Echo adds echo to your song.
  • 8-Bit Game makes your music sound like an NES classic.

Take it to the streets

With Nintendo 3DS Sound you can also use StreetPass to look for other users with similar tastes. Create a playlist of your favourite songs and carry around your system in Sleep Mode. When you encounter other players with their system also in Sleep Mode, you'll swap Hit Parade playlists and can compare how similar you both are with the StreetPass Compatibility function.
