Controlling your chosen character with the Nunchuk Control Stick you will have to explore every dark corner of the Spiderwick universe and collect items that help you solve puzzles and ultimately grant you further access to the mysterious Spiderwick Estate. You can even go behind the walls of the Spiderwick mansion and delve into otherwise unreachable areas with the friendly Brownie, Thimbletack. No matter where your quest leads you, you can always expect to bump into some gruesome goblins intent on bringing an end to your adventure. Dispatching of them is a simple case of swinging the Wii Remote or pressing the A Button to unleash attacks with a range of weapons that include everything from baseball bats to water pistols loaded with vinegar!
To aid you in battle, you can boost your speed, power and health recovery by tracking down the various fairies scattered throughout the estate. You can also unlock new attacks by retrieving goblin’s teeth from some of the foes you have swept aside. As you progress through your adventure you will unlock a multiplayer challenge that puts you and a friend head to head in a race to catch as many fairies as you can whilst avoiding a bothersome army of goblins!
