Planet Roo is under attack from the malevolent Meemoos and only you can save the day in Roogoo Twisted Towers on Wii!
The planet Roo was once a happy and peaceful place, sustained by Magical Meteors that fell from the sky. Unfortunately, some of the local Roogoo population found the lure of magical powers too much to resist and began manipulating the magic for evil purposes. The actions of these corrupt Roogoos have now plunged the planet into darkness and altered the evil breakaway group – now known and feared as the Meemoos.
Thankfully, all is not lost. Taking the side of the planet’s good guys – the Roogoo – you hold the power to foil the Meemoo’s corrupt plans by putting to work a combination of puzzle solving and quick reflexes. Your mission is to revive the planet Roo by guiding differently shaped Magical Meteors through a series of colourful barriers to safety. Naturally, the Meemoos will do everything in their power to put a halt to your rescue attempt, so be ready for a fight!
There are 10 distinct environments to puzzle your way through and over a hundred unique levels including places such as Meemoo City and Roolands. The gameplay is simple to pick up and incredibly intuitive using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. On the other hand, solving the puzzles themselves will be anything but easy – so make sure you have your wits about you as you rotate platforms, take on flying creatures and fight off trouble in an effort to overcome your enemies.
But…you don’t have to face the dastardly Meemoos all on your own! There are a myriad of multiplayer options in Roogoo Twisted Towers opening up the whole frantic experience to be shared with your family and friends! There’s a co-op campaign mode available throughout the entire game with puzzle and fighting action using hammers, nets and various upgrades. In the “Party Play” mode, up to four players can get together in the fight for good with a whole range of group mini-games and the introduction of some scary level bosses, such as “The Giant Squid”. It’s a calamari catastrophe!
There’s an extra-special option in store for you if you also own a Nintendo DS and a copy of Roogoo Attack! for your handheld system. If you wirelessly connect Roogoo Twisted Towers on Wii to Roogoo Attack! on Nintendo DS, you can unlock additional levels in all 10 environments on both Wii and DS!
