Set in the same universe as Spore Hero on Wii, the story starts with a collision with a stray blue meteor. After crash-landing on a mysterious planet, you learn that the influence of rogue red meteors has had a malign effect on the arena champions dotted across the galaxy. It’s your mission to take on the forces of darkness and clear up the corrupt gladiatorial circuit once and for all.
Spore Hero Arena will give you the chance to get your creativity flowing as you tailor the perfect fighter using the 3D Spore Creature Creator. With over 150 parts and unique Bio-Powers to unlock, including lightning strikes and ground stomps, there's huge potential to evolve your creature into a lean, mean fighting machine. As you upgrade and stay optimised for battle, you’ll develop your very own fighting style to leave your opponents reeling and keep yourself at the top of the evolutionary tree.
You can also multiply the fun by battling up to three friends using local wireless connection or taking on another player using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. There’s much more to the multiplayer mode than brawling though - you can collect monsters and trade them with friends, all the time building up your Sporepedia.
