LEGO Ninjago: The Videogame is the follow-up to the popular LEGO Battles, and continues in the colourful vein of previous Warner Bros. titles like LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Batman.
The game blends action and strategy as you lead one of two warring factions onto the battlefield in an attempt to prove yourself the ultimate fighting force. For starters, you’ll have to pick a side – deciding which of two brothers will head up your assembly of warriors. Siblings Sensei Wu and Lord Garmadon are both determined to recover the four golden weapons of Spinjitzu, but their ultimate intentions couldn’t be more different.
Playing as either Sensei Wu’s Masters of Spinjitzu or Lord Garmadon’s Skeleton Army, you’ll embark on missions which will see you deploying troops, casting spells and unleashing special moves as you fight for your chosen cause. Underpinning those special moves is the art of Spinjitzu – a fighting technique that involves spinning into a turbulent tornado to blow opposing forces away!
True to the LEGO build-and-play videogame experience, LEGO Ninjago invites you to create and upgrade units before sending them out on campaigns. Those campaigns could come in one of six different game modes – four of which are designed especially for multiplayer warfare. Via Nintendo DS Multi-Card Play you can connect wirelessly with another would-be general who owns LEGO Ninjago and go head-to-head in thrilling strategic showdowns. Will the balance of power fall in the favour of Lord Garmadon’s shadowy forces or will good prevail? Only you can decide!
