Which multiplayer game types do exist?

There are two different Nintendo DS multiplayer game types:

    - Multi-Card Play: Each player can wirelessly connect to other Nintendo DS systems to play a multiplayer game. For this method, one Game Card per player is needed.

    - Single-Card Play: Player 1 inserts a copy of the respective game into the Game Card slot of his/her Nintendo DS. That player then wirelessly broadcasts the game to other players in the vicinity. The other players use DS Download Play to transfer the data required for the game to their Nintendo DS. For this method, only one Game Card is needed for all players to play.

Further information about the availability of a multiplayer option and the type of DS Wireless Communication will be shown by an icon (see Nintendo DS operation manual) on the game packaging.
