    Loss of picture or black display when device is switched on

    1. If the display is also darkened when the device is switched off, or it looks as though colour has run out of it, please see the section 'LCD breakage'.
    2. Please check that the Game Boy Advance SP battery is charged - the power-on light must light up green. If the power-on light does not light up green, please connect the unit to an electric socket using the provided power supply in order to charge the battery.
    3. If the problem occurs only with one game, you should - if possible - test out this game on another Game Boy Advance/Game Boy Advance SP.
    • If you do not have the opportunity to do this, you should send the Game Boy Advance SP together with the game to us for repair or replacement.
    • If this problem occurs with all games, you should return the Game Boy Advance SP to us for repair or replacement.
    • If the problem occurs only with one game and only on your Game Boy Advance SP, you should send the Game Boy Advance SP and the game to us for repair or replacement.
    • If the problem occurs with only one game, which also does not function on any other Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP, you should send the game to us for repair or replacement.

    NOTE:

    • We can perform repairs or replacement exclusively on games that originated directly from Nintendo.
    • You can find out which games are Nintendo titles by contacting the Nintendo Service Centre (see Contact section for details).
