    To celebrate this breath-taking year for the boundary-breaking The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild we want to see your favourite #ZeldaMoments from the game and we’re giving away lots of The Legend of Zelda goodies, including tickets to the spectacular The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert in London, and more!

    Your #ZeldaMoments Contest

    We want to create a video homage for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and we need your help!

    Simply head to Twitter or Instagram and post a short video of yourself talking about your favourite moment from the game and include the hashtag #ZeldaMoments. We want to hear all about your epic adventures at Death Mountain, the heartfelt memories in Zora’s Domain and those unforgettable quirky moments like that time you realised apples cook themselves on the floor when in Goron City. Try not to go too far into spoiler territory, though!

    Don’t want to include a video in your tweet or Instagram post? No problem, you can simply publish your favourite moment, including the hashtag, and send the short video clip to us using nintendocommunity@nintendo.co.uk alongside a link to your tweet or post with the subject line “Your #ZeldaMoments Contest”. Don’t forget, you can now use the Capture Button on Nintendo Switch to save and share video clips from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

    Two winning entrants will be invited to Nintendo UK, travel costs included, where we’ll film your memorable moment in person and include the footage in our future promotional materials. Not only that but you’ll win a The Legend of Zelda themed goody bag and £100 Nintendo eShop credit too! We’ll also invite some of our other favourite entrants to take part in the filming as well, travel costs included. Each of the selected additional entrants will receive a The Legend of Zelda themed goody bag too.

    #ZeldaMoments Creation Contest

    That’s not the only way to get involved in the celebrations though. We’re also kicking off a #ZeldaMoments Creation Contest. To get involved, you just need to create something that represents one of your favourite moments in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and publish it on Twitter or Instagram using the #ZeldaMoments hashtag. There are no limits, so you can create whatever you like, from plushies, to paintings, statues, dioramas and anything in between. If you create something physically rather than digitally we may ask you to post it to us.

    Two lucky winners will receive two tickets to the incredible The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert at the Eventim Apollo, London, on November 21st, travel costs and hotel accommodation included, alongside a The Legend of Zelda themed goody bag and £100 Nintendo eShop credit. On top of that we’ll take our favourite entries and showcase them at the Eventim Apollo on the night of the concert for all to see!

    Both competitions close at 23:59 on 14th November 2017. Keep an eye on the Nintendo UK Twitter account as we’ll be retweeting some of our favourite entries throughout the competition. For full details on both contests’ rules, please make sure to read the terms and conditions below.

    Your #ZeldaMoments Contest - Terms and Conditions:

    1. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland aged 13 years and over, excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the competition.

    2. If you are under 18 you are representing that you have consent from your parents/guardian to enter the competition in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy.

    3. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales.

    4. Entries to the competition will close at 23:59 on Tuesday 14 November 2017. Entrants may enter the competition only once.

    5. Entry is online via Twitter or Instagram. In order to take part, entrants must record a video of themselves talking about one of their favourite moments in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and share that video on either Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #Zeldamoments and including a caption of their choosing. Alternatively, entrants can tweet their favourite moment without the video and email the video, alongside a link to the tweet, to nintendocommunity@nintendo.co.uk. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route.

    6. Once the promotion closes, two winners will be selected by an independent judge from all valid entries received, and notified through their chosen method of entry within 7 days of the promotion closing. If a winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 48 hours the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.

    7. Two winners will receive a The Legend of Zelda themed goody bag and £100 Nintendo eShop credit, and will be invited to the Nintendo UK offices to film their entry in person. This footage may be used in future promotional materials by Nintendo. The winners will also receive rail (2nd class) or aeroplane (economy class) tickets from their city of choice within the UK or ROI to Windsor & Eton Central station or London Heathrow.

    8. Additional entries will be selected to potentially be featured in a Nintendo advertisement, these entries will be chosen by an independent judge according to which entries are considered to be the most creative, original and apt. They will be invited to the Nintendo UK offices to film their entry in person and receive a The Legend of Zelda themed goody bag and rail (2nd class) or aeroplane tickets (economy class) from their city of choice within the UK or ROI to Windsor & Eton Central station or London Heathrow. These entrants will be notified through their chosen method of entry within 7 days of the promotion closing.

    9. There is no cash or other prize alternatives. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.

    10. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude an entry from the competition if it considers such entry to be offensive, defamatory or if it infringes third-party rights.

    11. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit. Entries using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.

    12. The promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner, including, but not limited to, age and eligibility to enter, and to refuse to award the prize, or withdraw prize entitlement, where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements.

    13. Entrants (or entrant's parent or guardian) and participants (or participant’s parent or guardian) of the videos agree to grant Nintendo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry. Nintendo may use the entries in future promotions including in its marketing materials, on its website, on its social media channels and in any other media from time to time. The Promoter ensures that entrants will not be portrayed in a bad light through the Promoter’s use of the competition entry, but is not limited in the use of the competition entry.
