Win DRAGON QUEST games and goodies with DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

If you've been playing DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King since its launch on January 20th then you should have met Cameron Obscura in the town of Port Prospect by now. Cameron is an aficionado of photography and will reward you with special items if you can capture great photos according to his requests.

Now, Nintendo UK and Square Enix Europe would like to reward you for your photos too! We want to see your finest landscapes, your funniest selfies and your most stunning action shots from the world of DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, and we're prepared to reward three budding photographers with a hefty treasure trove of DRAGON QUEST goodies.

The three winning photographers will take home:

• DRAGON QUEST VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (Nintendo 3DS)
• Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (Nintendo DS)

To be in with a chance of winning these bountiful prizes, all you'll have to do is take your finest photograph using the Photo Mode* built into DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and then post that photo to either Twitter or Instagram, making sure to add a caption of your choosing and the hashtag #DragonQuestPhotos. All entries will be judged on the quality and entertainment value of both the photo and the caption so make sure to be as imaginative as possible!

Entries close at 23:59 on the 10th February 2017 so you have plenty of time to explore and take your best snaps. There are no limits to how many times you can enter either so show off as many pics as you like during the contest. The Nintendo UK and DRAGON QUEST Twitter accounts will be re-tweeting some of their favourite entries throughout the promotion. Terms and Conditions:

^{1. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland only and requires a valid Twitter or Instagram account and online access to enter. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from the promotion. Entrants must be 13 years or over.}

^{2. If you are under 18 you are representing that you have consent from your parents/guardian to enter the promotion in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy.}

^{3. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.}

^{4. The promotion is open from 11:00 on 27th January 2017. Entries close at 23:59 on 10th February 2017.}

^{6. Entry is online via Twitter or Instagram. In order to take part, entrants must take a photo using the Photo Mode in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for Nintendo 3DS and share that photo on either Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #DragonQuestPhotos and including a caption of their choosing. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route.}

Once the promotion closes, three winners will be selected by an independent person, from all valid entries received, and notified through their chosen method of entry within 7 days of the promotion closing. Entries will be judged based on which photos and captions are the most creative and entertaining. If the winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 48 hours the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.}

There is no cash or other prize alternative. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.}
