  • Win a unique Shaun the Sheep sketch by Aardman Animations with Super Mario Maker

    12/08/2016

Following the release of the Shaun the Sheep Event Course in Super Mario Maker, Nintendo UK has teamed up with Aardman Animations to create an exciting course design contest with a one-of-a-kind prize!

This special illustration of Shaun the Sheep playing on his Wii U was drawn by Richard Starzak of Aardman Animations and the original work could be yours to keep! To be in with a chance of winning we’d like you to design a course in Super Mario Maker using the Shaun the Sheep Costume. You can unlock this by playing and completing the Event Course named Shaun's Mossy Mole Mischief!

Once you’ve made and uploaded* your course and you’re happy with how it plays, then please email the Course Code to nintendocommunity@nintendo.co.uk with the subject line “Shaun the Sheep course contest”. The very best course – judged for its originality and playability – will be awarded the Shaun the Sheep illustration.

Two exceptional runner-up entries will also take home the prize of a Summery Shaun Sundae figurine, pictured below. These figurines were created as miniature replicas of the 5ft sculptures, which formed a 2015 charity art trail around London and Bristol, called Shaun in the City.

You have until 23:59 on the 2nd of September to submit your Course Code, which should give you plenty of time to create an amazing Super Mario Maker course. We’re very much looking forward to playing your designs and sharing the winning entries with other Super Mario Maker players!

Don’t forget, if you’d like to share your creation with your friends online then we highly recommend the Super Mario Maker Bookmark Portal. If you'd like some tips on how to make an enjoyable course then check out the Super Mario Maker Course Creation Class.
