  • Take up arms in free demos of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, out now!

    21/02/2013

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is coming to both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on 22nd March, and you can get a glimpse of the incredible adventure that awaits you with a free demo for each system, now available to download from Nintendo eShop.

If you’re taking your first steps in the world of Monster Hunter, you can learn the ropes in a quest aimed squarely at beginners, while experienced players can dive right into a more advanced quest against a formidable foe. And because Monster Hunter is all about customisation, you can arm yourself with one of 12 different weapons before heading out to make your mark.

The demos offer a sneak peek at the intense and rewarding action on offer in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The full game on Nintendo 3DS offers local multiplayer for up to four players, while Wii U owners can join forces and hunt online with other players. Wii U and Nintendo 3DS owners can even play together via local wireless, meaning you can create your very own hunting party at home.

Save data is also inter-compatible between both versions of the game, meaning players can transfer their data between systems to take the hunt with them wherever they go. Play in high-definition on the big screen with Wii U before transferring the save data to Nintendo 3DS and continuing the adventure on-the-go.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS XL will be released across Europe on March 22nd. Look out for a limited edition Wii U Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Premium Pack, as well as a bundle including a black Nintendo 3DS XL system with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate pre-installed, both released on March 22nd.
