On Nintendo eShop now: Fallblox

15/11/2012

The Carrier Birds of Fallblox Park have all flown away, so there's only one thing to do: you need to help Mallo get them back! Get ready to push, pull and stack blocks like never before in Fallblox, available from today on Nintendo eShop exclusively for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL.

To celebrate the release of Fallblox, new puzzles for the game are already available! These puzzles, released in the form of QR Codes, can be imported into the game through Fallblox Studio, which becomes available once you complete the first 10 Fallblox. Two new puzzles are available now, with more appearing in the coming months – to get the QR Codes and for information of how to import them, check out the official Fallblox gamepage.

The sequel to Pullblox, one of the most popular puzzle-platform games on Nintendo 3DS, Fallblox has plenty in common with its predecessor. For instance Mallo, the sumo-wrestler-shaped hero, is back and players still help him move giant coloured blocks in order to build a path to the top of each puzzle. However, the introduction of gravity completely changes how Fallblox plays, meaning it presents an entirely new challenge to fans of Pullblox!

Previously, Mallo could push or pull lower blocks with no consequences to the blocks above. In Fallblox though, every move can change the entire landscape of a puzzle, since leaving higher blocks unsupported from below causes them to fall down. You need to use this to your advantage, constructing a path to the bird perched atop each Fallblox... but it's not as easy as it sounds! And once you start adding in new gadgets like floating blocks, move switches, doors and more, things really get tricky!

With 140 challenging new puzzles and 90 training stages to help you get to grips with the unique gameplay, Fallblox is sure to keep you playing for a long time to come. And even when you're done, the fun doesn't stop – with Fallblox Studio, you can create your own stages to share with friends, or import puzzles created by others and try to complete them for yourself!
