See the Make Your Own Zelda Flipnote competition winners!

The Make Your Own Zelda Flipnote contest was held from August 8th to September 9th, 2011, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. In this worldwide contest we asked Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL owners to choose one of three soundtracks and create their own Flipnotes to go with the music, featuring characters, locations and themes from the Legend of Zelda series.

We received so many inspired Flipnotes full of character and originality, and were very impressed by the many high quality Flipnotes that  were polished to perfection. Nintendo would like to thank each and every one of you, not only for taking the time to create your Zelda Flipnotes, but most importantly for putting such terrific effort into celebrating The Legend of Zelda series' 25th anniversary with us!

All the winners have now been chosen by a jury of creators deeply involved in the Zelda series over the years, including Shigeru Miyamoto himself!

You can currently view the winning Flipnotes from the Europe and Oceania region on the Zelda 25th Anniversary website  - and very soon they'll be viewable on Nintendo Channel and in Nintendo eShop too! In the coming weeks, we'll be announcing the winners from North America and Japan, so keep your eyes peeled for more winning Flipnote animations!
