A wide selection of Virtual Console games is available to download from the Internet via the Wii Shop Channel. Each game costs a certain amount of Wii Points.
Many Virtual Console games can be played simply by using the Wii Remote sideways but certain titles require the use of additional controls. Therefore a Classic Controller is available that includes all buttons and analogue sticks necessary for playing any Virtual Console game.
