Daily Puzzles for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask now available

We would like to apologise to all players of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask who were unable to use the Daily Puzzles feature that offers one additional puzzle on a daily basis for a whole year from the day of the game’s launch on October 26th, 2012.

A technical issue prevented customers from downloading the Daily Puzzles, but today we can confirm that after investigating the issue we have now resolved it. We would like to assure players of the game that this issue has not caused them to miss out on any content, as when the player chooses to download the Daily Puzzles at any point after launch, all previously released puzzles are saved to the SD Card.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE DAILY PUZZLES:

The Daily Puzzles can be downloaded by selecting the DAILY PUZZLE option in the Bonuses section of the game and touching DOWNLOAD to proceed. Players should ensure that they have enough free space on the SD Card in their Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system to save the additional puzzles.

Anyone who has previously attempted to download the Daily Puzzles may need to delete the Extra Data for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask from the SD Card in their Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system, as follows:

1. In the Nintendo 3DS HOME Menu go to SYSTEM SETTINGS
2. Select DATA MANAGEMENT
3. Select NINTENDO 3DS
4. Select EXTRA DATA
5. Select the PROFESSOR LAYTON AND THE MIRACLE MASK data and tap DELETE.

After this is done please download the Daily Puzzles again as described above. Please note that it is not necessary to delete your save data or to restart the game from the beginning.
