Create your own Let's Play video contest launches for Xenoblade Chronicles

4th October 2011 – To mark the recent launch of Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii, Nintendo is challenging you to create a new Let’s Play video showcasing what you love most about the immersive worlds of Bionis and Mechonis and the action-packed RPG gameplay. If you've been enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles and the previous Let’s Play videos, then upload your own Let's Play video to the Xenoblade Chronicles video contest website by 18th October and show exactly what it is about the game that others should see. Whether it's a breathtakingly beautiful area or an epic side quest you completed - you play the game, you call the shots.

For inspiration check the official Xenoblade Chronicles YouTube Channel to view the previous Let’s Play videos showcasing the landscapes, gameplay and characters from Xenoblade Chronicles. If you feel that there is an area within the game or aspect of the gameplay or story that you want to showcase then now is the time to create your own short video.

Whether it takes you five minutes or two, it doesn’t matter as long as your video does not exceed 10 minutes and complies with Nintendo’s Terms & Conditions that can be found at the video contest website. Minimum age for participation in the contest is 16.

At the end of October, 5 finalists will be selected from all the entries, with an overall winner being voted for by fellow fans of Xenoblade Chronicles. The winning video will be showcased on the official Xenoblade Chronicles YouTube Channel and the winner will also receive a voucher for both The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower - the two new exciting RPGs coming to Wii in 2012. The four runners-up will each receive a voucher for one of the two titles of their choice. These vouchers can be redeemed with Nintendo once the games are released, ensuring that the lucky winner and runners-up will be among the first to play the games in Europe.
