Sonic the Hedgehog has always been synonymous with speed, but now the spiky blue slickster is about to switch to a whole new gear. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is in shops for Wii and Nintendo DS this Friday, 26th February, giving you the chance to take to the track with 20 legendary SEGA characters for some chaotic kart racing.
If you can’t wait until then to start your engine, there is a way to get motoring today. Available via the Nintendo Channel on your Wii console, a brand new demo of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing can now be downloaded directly to your Nintendo DS.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is in shops 26 February for both Wii and Nintendo DS.
How to download demos from the Nintendo Channel:
1. Make sure your Wii is connected to the Internet and go to the Nintendo Channel. If you don’t have the Nintendo Channel yet you can download it for free from the Wii Shop Channel.
2. Select the "DS Download Service" icon on the first screen of the Nintendo Channel.
3. You’ll see a list of currently available demos from which you can select the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing demo.
4. Now turn the power ON on your Nintendo DS and select the option “DS Download Play” from the menu.
5. Once your Nintendo DS has connected to your Wii console, you just need to accept the software download and you’re ready to play!
