Launching across Europe tomorrow, March 5th, the all-new Picross 3D for Nintendo DS takes everything you know and love about this unique puzzle series – and adds a whole new dimension! In Picross 3D you follow the clues to chip away blocks in a 3D grid in order to reveal the shape of the puzzle’s solution. And there’s a lot more to discover if you dig a little deeper…
Visit the official Picross 3D website and learn the basic rules with our tutorial videos. Then put your prowess to the test by trying out some interactive puzzles in the Try it Out section. In Picross 3D, you can also create your own puzzles and then share them with your friends or enter them into monthly themed contests! The winning puzzles will be available for download the following month via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, ensuring a constant stream of fresh new challenges.
March Contest
The first Picross 3D contest opens for entries on March 5th and runs until the closing date of March 31st. This month’s theme is “spring”, so put your thinking caps on and see what creative constructions you can conjure up!

Download demo
If you can’t wait to get your hands on some Picross 3D block-bashing action, you can also try our downloadable demo. Available via the Nintendo Channel on your Wii console, the demo will also be available from March 5th.
How to download demos from the Nintendo Channel:
1. Make sure your Wii is connected to the Internet and go to the Nintendo Channel. If you don’t have the Nintendo Channel yet you can download it for free from the Wii Shop Channel.
2. Select the "DS Download Service" icon on the first screen of the Nintendo Channel.
3. You’ll see a list of currently available demos from which you can select the Picross 3D demo.
4. Now turn the power ON on your Nintendo DS and select the option “DS Download Play” from the menu.
5. Once your Nintendo DS has connected to your Wii console, you just need to accept the software download and you’re ready to play!
Picross 3D is in shops this Friday, March 5, only for Nintendo DS.
