Ways to pass your time in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City

Ways to pass your time in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City

How do you like to spend your days? In Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City for Wii, you’ll find plenty of ways to while away the hours no matter what pastimes you most enjoy. Whether you just want to relax and explore the town you have created or hop on a bus and head to the city, Animal Crossing invites you to live life at your own pace.

Take a look at just a few of the ways you can get the most out of your days in our list of things to see and do.

Country comforts
The country has a charm all of its own, and in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City you’ll have the freedom to craft your own little rural haven. From the layout of your living room, to the flowers and trees that grow around town, it’s up to you to make things just the way you want them.

Your town won’t just be pretty to look at either. Once you start exploring, you’ll find that just beyond your doorstep lies a world rich with opportunity. Perhaps you’ll indulge in a spot of fishing first thing in the morning then see if you can dig up some rare fossils. Then again, if you’re more interested in getting to know your neighbours you can take the time to integrate into the community and try to understand the many complex moods exhibited by your fellow Animal Crossing residents.

Whatever you do, you’ll want to earn a few Bells to pay for your lifestyle of choice. Thankfully, earning spending money can be done in all kinds of creative ways. After all, your town would hardly seem like the perfect place to be if you spent most of the day behind a desk!

City lights
While the quiet life is full of its benefits, it’s nice to know the big city is close at hand. Take a short bus ride from your town and you’ll soon be amid the hustle and bustle of a bigger place – a place rich with opportunities to splash your well-earned Bells.

Perhaps you’ve been desperate to get your hands on a unique piece of furniture to complete your living room, or the latest fashion accessory for the season? If so, look no further than the GracieGrace department store, where everything you need is under one roof. Then again, maybe you’re in the city for some pampering. If that’s the case, let Kicks give your shoes a shine that will stop traffic or pop into Shampoodle before leaving with a new hairstyle or a makeover mask that lets you take on the appearance of a Mii.

Of course, there’s a lot more to see and do in the city. The question is; how will you spend your time (and Bells)?

Friendly faces
What would life be without friends? Once you’ve put lots of hard work into getting your town just the way you want it, it’s natural you’ll be itching to show it off.

In Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City, up to four friends can get together to explore a town one of them has created via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Once you’re in the same place, you’re sure to have lots to talk about. Thankfully, the new Wii Speak microphone peripheral lets you do just that! You (and anyone else who happens to be in the room with you) can natter with your Animal Crossing friends to your heart’s content.

As well as letting you catch up on events taking place in the real world, Wii Speak provides the perfect way to show others around your town or tell them about the latest goings-on in your little community. And with so much to see and do in Animal Crossing, there’s sure to be no shortage of things to talk about!

Animal Crossing is out 5 December, only on Wii.
