Become a master magician with Nintendo DS!

Become a master magician with Nintendo DS!

07 February 2008 - Prepare to draw gasps of amazement from the crowd as Magic Made Fun launches on Nintendo DS this spring. Guided by Barbara the Bat, get set to learn exciting magic tricks, practice essential skills every magician needs and even perform magic shows for your family and friends! Bundled with a deck of playing cards, Magic Made Fun will be a title you won’t want to miss as it launches on the Nintendo DS across Europe on 14th March 2008.

Become immersed in a world of trickery and illusion, with the Nintendo DS acting as sorcerer’s assistant for a variety of interactive and awe-inspiring tricks. Making full use of the Nintendo DS’s unique features, Magic Made Fun incorporates the Touch Screen, microphone and button combinations as well as utilising the deck of cards to create illusions beyond belief!

In Solo Magic, be amazed as the Nintendo DS performs a variety of magic tricks, both with and without cards, to entertain you. Players become the audience as they participate in tricks and try to figure out how they are done, watching a chosen card disappear and marvelling as the Nintendo DS selects the same card the player selects from the physical deck! Why not perform some magic for friends and family?

The Magic Show mode also allows users to dazzle and amaze friends and family by putting on a magic show. With multiple tricks available to perform, some of which use the deck of cards bundled with the game, players are certain to impress any audience. To create the perfect show, Magic Made Fun allows players to practice in private first as a secret option to the mode explains the trick and provides performance tips for budding magicians. Once perfected, stun the audience as players read the minds, reveal a wish or even guess the cards of those watching!

Every magician knows that practice makes perfect and training is essential to becoming the Houdini of their day. Magic Training offers a series of exercises designed to improve the execution of magic tricks as players practice areas such as hand co-ordination and improve their performance skills. Points awarded for each performance will raise players’ magician rank, as well as unlocking new tricks and exercises to perform and play!

So get ready for showtime as Magic Made Fun launches across Europe on the Nintendo DS for an estimated retail price of £20 / €30 on 14th March, 2008.
