Now on Virtual Console

Now on Virtual Console
Download some of the best games from the N64, NES, SNES, SEGA Mega Drive and TurboGrafx (PC Engine) eras in Wii's Virtual Console! New games are added to the Wii Shop Channel every Friday. This week, Paper Mario & Air "Zonk" are ready for you to download.

Adventure unfolds in Paper Mario!

Roll up, roll up for one of the most-loved and quirkiest role-playing games around! Paper Mario, now on Virtual Console, combines 3D graphics with 2D characters for a unique action-RPG experience.

If you loved Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door or the Mario & Luigi games, you'll be right at home with the original Paper Mario's wacky humour, oddball cast of characters and its huge, entertaining quest.

Plus, it's the perfect way to pass the time until the arrival of Super Paper Mario a brand-new adventure coming soon to Wii!

Air "Zonk" takes to the skies!

If the hero of Air "Zonk", Hudson Soft's classic cute em up', looks familiar, then you'd be right! Modelled on prehistoric hero Bonk, Zonk is a cyborg warrior with a cool pair of shades and an even cooler range of weaponry.

Now on Virtual Console, Air "Zonk" is a zany comic-styled Turbografx shooter with a massive choice of power-ups. Instead of typical lasers and missiles, you can fire sets of teeth, playing cards and if you combine with one of the many partner characters baseballs, milk bottles and even dog barks!

The Virtual Console houses such classics as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog. Click here to read more about all Virtual Console games available.

Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download Virtual Console games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. Click here to read more about Wii Points.

Certain games require the use of a Wii Classic Controller or Nintendo GameCube Controller. Click here to find out what controllers can be used with which game.
