In July, 2011, we announced a global reduction in the trade prices of Nintendo 3DS systems. In Europe, this took effect from August 12th, 2011. The ultimate price to consumers is, of course, determined by the retailers and this may therefore vary between retailers, but, even so, we expect European consumers to benefit from much lower retail prices as a result.
We know that because it is a short time since we launched Nintendo 3DS, this would have been disappointing for the loyal fans who supported Nintendo 3DS from the beginning. To express our gratitude we are offering 20 free downloadable games from Nintendo eShop as part of our Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Programme if you purchased your Nintendo 3DS system before August 12th, 2011.
The deadline for registering for the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Programme by connecting to Nintendo eShop or performing a system update has now passed. However, Nintendo 3DS owners who purchased their systems before August 12th 2011 are still eligible to join the programme and receive 20 free games.
