UNO™

Game Modes

There are three exciting modes to try in UNO, both on Nintendo DSiWare and WiiWare:

Free/Quick Play
Select Free/Quick Play when you want a quick game. You can play against the computer or with friends and family in the same room. Choose to play standard rules or shake the game up by customising your rules!

Tournament
Tournament mode gives you a more in-depth experience of UNO which you can enjoy by yourself before taking on friends and family in Multiplayer mode. You’ll face a series of challenges where you have to reach specific objectives and win rewards, with the ultimate goal of becoming an expert UNO player! Play through multiple rounds of games with different rules and aim for the highest score to progress!

A record of how you’re doing is kept and you can view a variety of statistics, ranging from your total score to the number of Reverse cards played.

Multiplayer
Choose this option if you want to play UNO with your friends!

With the WiiWare version, you can play with up to five friends on the same Wii console or online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with players anywhere in the world! Jump straight into a game that has an existing set of rules, or host your own game and play the way you decide. You can also set the game so you play only with people whom you’ve exchanged Friend Codes with. And if you own the Wii Speak accessory*, you can even talk to your friends - and see who shouts “UNO” first!

*Please note that the Wii Speak accessory is sold separately and is not required to play UNO.

The Nintendo DSiWare version has a thrilling multiplayer mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection that allows you to experience all the enjoyment of playing UNO with people all over the world! For a truly immersive experience, use the microphone to call out “UNO” for real! Meanwhile, with DS Wireless Play, you can invite up to three of your friends who also own the game to play together locally and decide between normal rules or your own creation with the Custom Rules option.
