Take On the World
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer enables World Battle with up to 4 players. You can also compare your scores to those of friends or other players around the world!
Free Speech is Good
Use the built-in microphone on the Nintendo DS to chat with a friend in the Friend Battle lobby before or after playing when connected to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

The traditional game of Tetris! Clear 150 Lines across 15 levels of play - or turn on Endless and see how long you last!
Computer Battle
Challenge the computer! Clear lines and send them to your opponent across 15 levels of difficulty.
Field Climber
Help the "climber" reach the top by placing Tetriminos as footholds. See how high you can go in the new Everest sub-mode!
Stage Racer
Steer a Tetrimino through challenging courses and aim for the fastest time! Try the new Abyss option to challenge your stamina.
Shadow
Pile up Tetriminos to match the silhouette on display! Solve the 30 puzzles or create your own.
Sprint
Show your speed skills and clear 40 lines as fast as you can!
Master Mode
Only experts need apply! Similar to Marathon, but you play at the highest difficulty/speed right off the bat!
Bombliss™
Clear lines using bombs for explosive chain reactions! Use as few bombs as possible for a high score.
Beginner's Tetris Marathon
Newcomers can jump right in! The Tetriminos here are larger, less intimidating, and fun for all ages.
Beginner's All Clear Sprint
Go for the high score and get 20 All Clears in the shortest amount of time.
Local Multiplayer
VS Battle (with Items)
Up to 8 players can compete using magic Items.
Co-op Tetris
Play cooperatively with another player in an extra-wide Matrix. See what you can achieve together!
VS Field Climber
Up to 4 players compete to see who reaches the goal first.
VS Stage Racer
Up to 4 players race to see who can reach the finish line first, or play the sub-mode Abyss to see who can hold out longest!
Duel Spaces
In this 2-player mode opponents take turns to capture the most space in the Matrix.

Up to 4 players compete to see who solves the puzzle first.
VS Hot Lines
Compete to see who can clear the Hot Lines first! Hot Lines are cleared by clearing a line of Tetriminos over the Hot Line.
VS Sprint (with Items)
Compete to see who can clear 40 Lines first. See who's fastest and settle the score!
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
VS Battle (with Items)
Up to 4 players can compete using magic Items.
VS Battle 1 VS 1 (without Items)
Compete online against another player without magic Items.

Play it Your Way
Take advantage of pointing with the Wii Remote, or enjoy the nostalgic feel of the Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro (sold separately).
Break a Sweat
Use the Wii Balance Board (sold separately) in specially-marked modes. Lean left and right to move the Tetriminos left or right; lean forward or backwards to increase the drop speed; squat to rotate them!
Steer Your Way to Success
Use the Wii Wheel (sold separately) to steer your way through the many levels of Stage Racer.
It's More Fun to Party with Others
Enjoy Tetris with up to 3 other players in local multiplayer or up to 5 other players via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
