Skate It
Skate It

Hit the streets and sample skateboarding in an entirely new way with Skate It for Wii. Using either the Wii Remote alone or in conjunction with the Wii Balance Board, Skate It taps into the heart and soul of the high-impact pastime by letting you control the action on the streets with simple and intuitive movements.

The FlickIt control scheme enables you to control all your actions on the board with simple tilts and flicks of the Wii Remote, allowing you to quickly string together trick combinations as you skate around the concrete jungle of San Vanelona and a series of real-world locations perfectly set up for the savvy skater.

Skate It also breaks new ground by introducing innovative support for the Wii Balance Board, which gives players a fresh way to create their own signature skateboarding style. Just apply pressure to the board to jump, and lean from side-to-side or forward and back to steer and control your speed. You’ll also use the A Button on the Wii Remote to push off when you start skating or recover from a major spill.

Whatever way you choose to take control of your board, you’ll ride with pro skaters and attempt to make your mark at the hottest skate spots on the planet - from London to Shanghai and back to Barcelona. As you progress, you’ll pick up sponsorship deals from real skate companies and – hopefully – show the skills you need to be named Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year.

You’ll also have the opportunity to de a little re-arrangement in the environments you visit, picking up and moving ramps, rails and benches to create an arena that matches your style. Winning special skate challenges will earn you new skateable objects that can ultimately be cobbled together to form your dream skate park.

Once your skills are up to scratch, challenge up to three friends in multiplayer mode and take turns at trying to pull off bigger and better tricks than anyone else can muster.

Experience skateboarding like never before and master the moves you need to rule the planet in Skate It.
