Securing success will mean completing quests to capture or slay monsters by any means necessary. Use your hunting instinct to track the beasts across land, sea and air, and set traps to ensnare your target before striking the decisive blow. When a monster is slain, claim the spoils of war by carving off horns, scales and bones that can be forged into an array of new weapons and armour by the village blacksmith – for a price, of course. Beware though; your enemy knows how to hunt too. Boasting unique abilities, monsters may camouflage themselves in preparation for an ambush or call for help if outmatched. With beautiful graphics and a dynamic ecosystem that makes the world around you seem truly alive, Monster Hunter Tri is an experience you may well want to share. Thankfully, as well as playing alone, you can hunt with up to three other players online – combining your forces with players on your Wii Friend Roster or random hunters and exploring together as you track down the beasts you dare not face alone. When you do hunt solo, you can take comfort in knowing you’ll have some help if you wish it in the form of an AI-controlled Cha-Cha character. Summon every ounce of courage you can muster and brave a world in which only the strongest survive, and any sign of weakness will turn hunter into hunted.
