With the Wii Remote as their wand, players can truly experience the
magic of Harry Potter for the first time! Cast spells with the flick of
a wrist and help Harry discover the dark secrets in Harry Potter and the
Order of the Phoenix.
After Harry’s recent encounter with Lord Voldemort is misrepresented to
the wizarding community, Harry and his friends become caught in the
middle of a power struggle between the Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, and
the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge. With the young wizards
unprepared by the school to battle the dark forces threatening them,
Harry takes the lead and prepares his friends for an extraordinary
battle between good and evil that lies ahead. Will it be the final
battle?
The Wii version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix gives
players unprecedented access to the famous Hogwarts school. Feel free to
roam around the institution and discover adventure! The non-linear
gameplay lets players choose where they go, what they do and when they
do it. As if free-roaming, wand-waving gameplay weren’t exciting enough
additions, the game is the most authentic representation of a Harry
Potter film ever! The castle is built from the same blueprints used to
build the movie sets, and actual movie assets were referenced to create
a more authentic feel.
•Use the Wii Remote to put a wand in your hand and cast spells in the
game! Explore the Hogwarts as seen in the movie and discover its magical
secrets. Talk to the portraits, complete their missions and gain
passwords for shortcuts.
•Compete in Exploding Snap, Gobstones and Wizard Chess games throughout
Hogwarts and challenge the best from each house using unique Wii Remote
and Nunchuk controls.
•Fly Fred and George out of Hogwarts as they escape Umbridge’s regime.
Play as Sirius Black to protect Harry as you confront Bellatrix
Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy in the Ministry of Magic. Play as Dumbledore
in his momentous final confrontation with Voldemort!
