Get back on the stage and take your place among the legends of rock in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for Wii. Featuring more of the furious fret work you expect from a Guitar Hero game, the latest addition to the line-up lets you take to the road as Steven Tyler and company as you rewrite rock history and determine the destiny of the great Aerosmith.
Featuring all of Aerosmith’s greatest hits, as well as music from artists that the band themselves are fans of, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith once again invites you to pick up the guitar-shaped controller and rock until you drop!
Playing along with the Boston rockers is simple. Just keep your eyes fixed on coloured circles as they move along an on-screen fret board and tap the corresponding button on your guitar at the right moment. You’ll have to keep the rhythm on the guitar’s strum bar as well – adding to the authentic feel of rocking out like a true guitar hero.
The better you play, the more points you will pick up, with a long run of accurate finger activity boosting your Rock Meter. If the Rock Meter drops to nothing, prepare to be booed off stage! Successfully nailing certain notes will fill your Star Power Meter, eventually allowing you to activate Star Power by just tilting your guitar into a vertical position. Once it kicks in, Star Power will double your score for as long as it lasts. You can also give your Star Power Meter a boost by using the guitar’s whammy bar during select sections of a song.
The game’s career mode invites you to retread the path followed by Aerosmith on their way to the top – playing everywhere from a high school gym to packed auditoriums in their hometown. You can also share the limelight with a friend in co-op mode or prove just how much of an Aerosmith aficionado you are by battling against other would-be guitar heroes online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Be a part of rock history and share the stage with legends.
