When the situation gets tense, when each shot could be your last, which weapon can you count on? The Wii Remote (and Wii Zapper), of course. With these finely tuned tools of liberation you will go deep behind enemy lines to liberate hostages from the clutches of dangerous terrorist groups in the arcade hit Ghost Squad.
Based on the original arcade favourite, Ghost Squad for Wii lets you play as an elite member of a team of highly trained special operatives, deployed into the most dangerous, high-tension hostage situations. Using the Wii Remote as your firearm, you will complete dangerous missions to release hostages from terrorist groups, deactivate bombs and even rescue the American president. Automatically moving from room to room in three expansive environments, all you need to focus on is precision firing and getting the bad guys before they get you.
Amidst the heat of combat, you are sent through different paths on each level. Every time you complete a mission, your character levels up, which unlocks new costumes, new weapons and changes that mission’s structure when it’s replayed. The more you play, the more you’re presented with level-branching choices and changing environments. With each of the 16 upgrades in difficulty, each area offers new surprises and challenges, boosting the title’s replayability factor immensely
For the first time ever, Ghost Squad also provides a fully-fledged multiplayer mode, allowing up to four people to team up to take on the terrorist threat in a hail of bullets and exploding, destructible scenery. If you favour the competitive side of friendship, you can also go head-to-head in a series of Ghost Squad training challenges.
