EA Playground
EA Playground

You don’t have to be a kid to play the games of youth, thanks to EA Playground. The game turns your TV room into a park, thanks to the Wii Remote. EA Playground is filled with lots of classic ball games, like dodgeball and tetherball, and non-contact games like slot-car racing and bug hunt. In addition, the game sports original games like Kicks, which is a football spin-off.

The centrepiece of the game is, of course, the Wii Remote. EA Playground uses the controller for a variety of actions. You’ll flick it to throw a ball at an opponent in dodgeball. It becomes an extension of your hand as you play tetherball. Treat the Wii Remote as a steering wheel as you race miniature cars or hold it like a paper airplane to navigate through a school hallway. The variety of games means you’ll be using the remote in all sorts of ways.

Although up to four people can play in EA Playground, the game also features an extensive single-player campaign. You’ll compete against computer opponents to become the Playground King. There’s a whole world of fun to explore with unlockable locales and computer opponents that will push your playground skills to the limit.

  • Be active with such games as dodgeball, tetherball and new games similar to basketball, football and tennis.
  • For those who don’t need to have a ball to have fun, the game features several activities, including a bug hunt, slot-car racing, paper airplane challenges and darts.
  • Collect stickers and marbles in single-player mode to access an array of extra content, including new locations in which to play.
